Private flights as popular as ever, says PH boutique airline

Despite the continued recovery of commercial airlines, travelers with fat wallets are opting for private flights to visit island destinations for both business and leisure purposes, according to an official of Sunlight Air.

Ryna Brito-Garcia, CEO of the boutique airline, told reporters in Clark on Monday there was still a “big” demand for chartered flights even after the government has lifted its restrictions to contain COVID-19. Interest began at the peak of the pandemic as a way to limit exposure to the virus, she earlier said.

Time to fly from Clark? Sunlight Air moves more flights to Clark airport

PAMPANGA, Philippines – There are now more reasons to fly from the Clark International Airport (CRK) as domestic airline Sunlight Air continues to move more of its flights to the Pampanga gateway.

Sunlight Air launched its inaugural flight from Clark to Busuanga in Palawan – Flight 2R601 – at 2:10 pm on Monday, April 1.

Sunlight Air transfers hub to Clark from NAIA

CLARK - Boutique carrier Sunlight Air has transferred its hub from Manila to Clark with its inaugural flight out of Clark International Airport launched on Monday, April 1.

Sunlight Air CEO Ryna Brito-Garcia said they will operate Clark flights to/from Coron and San Vicente in Palawan, as well as Siargao and Caticlan-Boracay. She said Clark International Airport is a better option as passengers can feel more comfortable at the new terminal.

At the same time, she said there is a whole new potential customers with millions living in Central Luzon.

CEBU, Philippines — Domestic boutique airline Sunlight Air announced the opening of flight access from Cebu to Boracay, just in time for the summer season.

With the launch of new routes to Caticlan (MPH) from Clark International Airport (CRK) and Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA), the CRK-MPH and CEB-MPH routes will operate non-stop flights twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday.
